Salsa Lizano is native to Costa Rica and made with a mixture of plants, vegetable, and spices, resulting in a flavorful, thick and dark sauce that will make any bland dish much tastier, it is also why it was so appreciated in its native country especially since it is an integral part of the national dish, the Gallo Pinto, a vegetarian dish made even tastier thanks to this sauce, it is used in other dishes of south American cuisine, and some early fans may even tell you that it replaces ketchup for them without great difficulty !
